Try the coconut and sugar cane from the other cart too! -Make sure to bring ample cash in small bills for tips (American dollars were fine). The jerk chicken cart is worth the hype! We never had to wait very long and ate it every day we were there. We loved trying the more authentic dishes. Great with a margarita or sparkling wine! -The Jamaican place was our favorite for dinner. Visit the ceviche place for lunch (if you like seafood, that is). The lifeguards are very friendly and accommodating. I will always think of Jamaica when I hear those songs now. The Reggae Love show was really good! We wished we had more nights to attend the other shows, but the music, dancing, everything was so enjoyable. They were all really informative and we appreciated chatting with and learning from the staff at these small events. We participate in some of the events like yoga, the Jamaican history, fruit tasting, and cooking demonstration. If you want strong drinks, order with "double rum" or with an extra shot or floater. We loved the view of the corner balcony because we could look all the way around. We stayed in Room 1323 which is a corner room on the third floor.
The private pool and beach were also great if you're there to relax and have some quiet. The preferred Wild Orchid building is also closest to all the dining and bars. We loved the all-access of having a preferred room and the personal little bar/buffet area.
